Ocuplanes was formed in 2009 by Jesse Koch and Hunter Masten, and their lineup was completed by Tim Webb and Gabriel Riccio (The Gabriel Construct). They play progressive rock with a post-hardcore edge, characterized by hard hitting drumming, odd-time grooves, a wall of effects-laden guitar sounds, independent bass lines, resonant singing, and sci-fi lyrics spanning multiple time periods.
